I am hoping that you can
help us. We had some people in our home yesterday
cleaning some of our carpets. One got spooked by
our blue and gold macaw Sammie, and went running out
the front door, with Sammie right behind him (funny
sight, bad result). The gentleman ran and once
Sammie was outside without the leash, s/he took off
We have not ever
gotten Sammie DNA sexed, so we do not know what s/he
is. Sammie is just our pet (spoiled rotten might I
add). We are all lonely and miss Sammie dearly, I
have enclosed a picture that was taken over the
weekend, s/he is molting right now, so the feathers
are a bit thin right now.
This bird is very
important to our family, s/he is good with kids and
other pets, very friendly, and vocal. Is learning
how to speak a few words, but still very little
understandable ones yet. I hope that someone finds
Sammie for us, and I have notified several places
just in case.
I hate the idea of
her/him outside and the weather turning on us.
If you see Sammie please contact Starescue so we
can forward the information to the owners.
