My Morning Habits
My morning habits have evolved over the years. I used to wake up as late as possible so I could get to school on time, then woke up at dawn to catch a bus for 30kms and an 8:00am start. I now work full-time and wake up earlier, and my early mornings often include a workout in the gym or a run. If I have time, I even read a book or two.
Plan your day
Do you need to improve your performance? Try implementing these daily habits:
Exercise
Exercise is a great way to jumpstart your day, and it can benefit your overall health, too. Researchers have shown that people who exercise daily have more energy and a more positive outlook. Exercise releases endorphins in the brain that promote increased mental sharpness. The exercise also has numerous health benefits, including improved mood, better concentration, and increased confidence. So, what are some of the reasons why exercise is a great habit to develop?
Drink water
According to Spanish doctor and dietitian Daniel Gonzalez, drinking water in the morning will help you pass stools more regularly. It also helps to soften stool and facilitate movement of feces. Although constipation is caused by several factors, one of them is low fluid intake. Drinking water in the morning can help you avoid constipation by improving the smoothness of bowel movements. Besides, drinking water during the day can help you stay healthy.
Read
One of the best self-development books I’ve ever read is called Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy. It’s about eating a frog, which has many health benefits including boosting self-esteem, motivation, and confidence. By making reading a part of your morning ritual, you’ll be well-equipped to face the day and get your best work done. Here are some of my favorite books on this subject.
